A 13-year-old Orkney single malt from the eighth-release in the Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Cask series, that was made at an undisclosed distillery on Orkney and matured in a batch of four casks – two sherry butts and two ex-bourbon barrels – until 2022. Aromas of heathery smoke, mint, rich earth and dark chocolate fill the nose, complemented by notes of candied ginger, cinnamon, golden syrup and mint chocolate throughout the palate.
